An amazing success in 2009

The Tony-nominated Broadway revue is back and on tour in Taiwan.

This singing and dancing sensational performance showcases Rock & Roll and R&B songs written by the duo, Leiber and Stoller-- songs like STAND BY ME, JAILHOUSEROCK, LOVE POTION #9, and many more! The story of a neighborhood brought together and helping each other to accomplish their dreams and hopes attracted New York director Brook Hall. After seeing the success and popularity of singing and dancing contests and TV shows in Taiwan, in 2009 he decided to take on Broadway's longest running Smokey Joe’s Cafe together with Infine Art and Culture Exchange.The show was an amazing success. All tickets in 2009's January's four performances were sold out to an audience of over 2,000 people at Taipei's National Taiwan Arts Education Center stage. Local and foreign audiences finally had the opportunity to see a Broadway musical in Taiwan performed by Taiwanese stars. Now Brook Hall is teaming up again with Infine to create the Smokey Joe's Cafe 2010 Taiwan tour, bringing all of Taiwan a change to experience the fun and excitement. Currently we are actively looking for sponsors, partners, media contacts, and venues interested in collaborating on this unique experience to bring a Broadway hit to an island-wide audience.
